No net of any charges will be levied for transfer of a fund up to a thousand rupees under IMP service during net banking

The State Bank of India (SBI), a major public sector bank, has given a report to the customers. The Bank has announced a huge rebate on the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) Charges on Net Banking. According to the information given by the bank, the IMPS service charges have been reduced by 80 percent. New rates have come into effect from October 15.

No fee to be paid up to 1000 rupees under IMPS service

During Net Banking, no fee will be levied for the transfer of a fund of up to one thousand rupees under IMPSservice. At the same time, transfer of funds from 1001 to 10 thousand rupees will now cost only a rupee fee. Transfer of funds from 10 thousand rupees to 1 lakh rupees will be charged only for two rupees and for transferring from one lakh rupees to two lakh rupees, only 3 rupees will be charged.

Through IMPS, customers can transfer money to 24 hours and seven days through internet banking. Generally, Internet banking is limited to banking hours, but IMPS service can be used on any day of the week or any other day.
